“Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide. Keep the doors   of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom”( Micah 7:5)

The natural man knows that without God, he can succeed. So many of them place their trust and confidence in material things, mortal and even gods.  Some Christians also have this same mentality of putting their trust and confidence in things rather than aligning their confidence to the source (God).

The next question will be where is your confidence? Is your confidence in the certificates you have, your job, the money in the bank, your wife or husband, your best friend and so on. The main scripture says “Trust ye not in a friend”. The word friend here does not only refer to a friend you know, but it refers to anyone that can possibly gain your trust.

I do not say trust is a bad attitude but once it’s channeled to the wrong direction the consequences are enormous. The secret here is to first of all trust and put your confidence to the one that does not fail, which is God.

Mathew 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

My confidence is in Christ Jesus, I live to see the glory of God manifest in my being. I am aligned for success because Jesus is my friend. In Jesus’ name.  Amen
